The "Removed symbols" section of docs/version-21-upgrade.md covers getImagenModel. But firebase 12.18 (@firebase/ai 2.15.0) removed all 12 Imagen* exports:
getImagenModelImagenAspectRatio,ImagenGCSImage,ImagenGenerationConfig,ImagenGenerationResponse,ImagenImageFormat,ImagenInlineImageImagenModel,ImagenModelParams,ImagenPersonFilterLevel,ImagenSafetyFilterLevel,ImagenSafetySettings
AngularFire 21 requires firebase ^12.18.0, so every app that upgrades loses them.
The ng update migration does not warn about the other 11. It also warns about getImagenModel only in files that import an old Vertex AI entry point (@angular/fire/vertexai, firebase/vertexai, or their -preview variants). An app that already imports from @angular/fire/ai or firebase/ai gets compile errors that the migration does not explain.
The guide already notes that Firebase shut the Imagen models down, so these apps were already failing at runtime. The guide should say that every Imagen* export is gone, and that the migration does not flag them.
