描述
Requested behavior
Allow a microSD card used through sdioio.SDCard to be exposed as a second USB mass-storage LUN alongside CIRCUITPY.
Floppsy RP2350B has a built-in TFT on SPI0 (GPIO6/7) and a separate SD socket on GPIO34-39. Those SD pins also map to SPI0 in SPI mode. Current automatic SD-over-SPI mounting claims SPI0 before the TFT starts, causing ValueError: SPI peripheral in use during board initialization and preventing USB startup with a card inserted. The board fix removes the automatic SPI SD configuration and leaves the SDIO pin aliases available to Python.
Todo
- Support an SDIO-backed USB MSC card LUN without constructing an SPI bus.
- Retain CIRCUITPY as the first LUN and the SD card as the second.
- Handle card detection/removal and coordinate host-versus-Python filesystem ownership to avoid concurrent writes.
- Verify cold boot, inserted/absent cards, reconnects, and simultaneous TFT use on Floppsy.
Requested by Limor while bringing up Floppsy. Related board PR: https://github.com/adafruit/circuitpython/pull/11555. This is a follow-up feature request; no SDIO-backed MSC implementation is included in that PR.
