描述
What happens
A v0.3 gRPC or REST send with no configuration runs non-blocking, while JSON-RPC blocks. FromProto.message_send_params (compat/v0_3/proto_utils.py:807) always builds a configuration, so a missing one arrives as blocking=False.
Question
v0.3.26 did the same, so this may be intended. Should a missing configuration map to None so all three transports default to blocking?
