Start by reproducing the issue through the “sign in to xcodes” entry point with Xcodes 4.1.1 on Golden Gate 27.2 b1, after an Xcode release. Check whether the Apple ID password reset is triggered consistently; done means signing in and downloading Xcode no longer forces a password change.

Describe the bug
Every time apple releases a new Xcode and I try to download it via Xcode's, im forced to change my Apple ID password. Every time.
To Reproduce
sign in to xcodes
Expected behavior
Not have to reset my password every time. The amount of friction this causes is supper annoying.
