描述
There are numerous problems with the way types are parsed right now:
- #119: reliance on an unspecified array syntax
- #268: Problems with nesting, unions, whitespace in types
- https://github.com/WordPress/wporg-developer/issues/573 Related to nesting, unions, etc.
Adopting PHPStan types and its parser likely addresses all of these points. PHPStan is already used in Core, adopting it here seems like the next a logical step.
