EDA - histogram app constraints allow an integer ordinal but back end only allows continuous

Start with the histogram xAxisVariable constraints shown in the issue and the backend validation reported by validateHistogramPD. Compare the accepted variable shapes with the Rserve error for an integer ordinal Study year, then verify that the constraint and backend agree and that the histogram rejects or handles the variable consistently.
