Problem
Cosmos DB is not supported. Its API for MongoDB speaks the MongoDB wire protocol, so those accounts may connect through the MongoDB plugin, but that is untested and databases/mongodb.mdx does not mention Cosmos DB. The NoSQL API, which is the default, has no path at all.
Proposed solution
A registry plugin for the NoSQL API over the REST API:
- Account key, resource token and Entra ID auth. The Entra ID sign-in in
apple/Plugins/TableProPluginKit/Entra/asks only for the Azure SQL scope (EntraOAuth.swift:99), so it needs a scope per resource before Cosmos DB can use it. - Databases and containers in the sidebar, documents in the grid through the JSON viewer MongoDB already uses.
- Cosmos SQL in the editor.
- Request units per query shown with the result, since RU is what the query costs. The BigQuery plugin reports bytes processed the same way (
apple/Plugins/BigQueryDriverPlugin/BigQueryPluginDriver+Execution.swift:291).
