@grantmcdermott This warning message appears when I switch plot back end from "standard" to "jgd" after restarting R terminal.

[sess] Plot backend "jgd" was requested but no renderer connection is available. Falling back to the standard plot viewer.
JGD then only takes effect after restarting VS Code.
