描述
Hi QuickLook team,
I have prepared a format-specific QuickLook plugin that previews .xlsm
workbooks when the native Office preview handler returns E_FAIL.
The plugin only handles .xlsm; Word, PowerPoint, .xlsx, and other formats
continue to use the existing OfficeViewer. It has been tested successfully with
QuickLook 4.5.0 x64.
Before publishing the binary publicly, I would like guidance on the distribution
model. The release package includes Syncfusion WPF rendering components and was
built using the same rendering approach as QuickLook.Plugin.OfficeViewer.
The public source omits the Syncfusion registration key.
Could you advise whether:
- This should be contributed to the official OfficeViewer project;
- It should be published as a separate plugin by the QuickLook organization; or
- I should obtain my own Syncfusion distribution license and publish it
independently.
I can provide the source, test results, and package for review. Once the
distribution path is confirmed, I will create the appropriate release and submit
the Available Plugins listing entry.
