There seems to be an increasing interest in using the openeo client package in a JupyterLite environment, which probably requires some extra efforts.
e.g. an initial problem: connection.authenticate_oidc(...) (and specifically the OIDC device code flow it ends up in), doesn't work out of the box because of CORS issues (e.g. the OIDC identity provider does not accept the domain the notebook runs under).
