描述
With usePrecompiled: true, the operator builds the driver image tag per node as <version>-<kernel>-<os> (object_controls.go at v26.7.2). NVIDIADriver rejects a digest outright when precompiled is enabled: "specifying image digest is not supported when precompiled is enabled" (nvidiadriver_types.go).
Every other operand, including the non-precompiled driver, can be pinned with version: <tag>@sha256:…. So precompiled drivers are the one operand that cannot be pinned, and clusters that deploy from immutable bundles (NVIDIA/aicr#3493) cannot reproduce them.
Ask: let users pin precompiled driver images by digest, for example with a kernel-to-digest map:

Or with a full-reference template that has a {kernel} placeholder. A node whose kernel has no entry should fail visibly rather than fall back to a tag.
