描述
add_class_plugin loads plugin modules with spec.loader.exec_module(module) and never inserts the module into sys.modules. @dataclass resolves field types by looking its defining module up in sys.modules, gets None, and raises an error. Any plugin module containing a dataclass fails at
registry-build time.
This affects all class-based plugins.
Steps to reproduce
Add to any plugin module:
from dataclasses import dataclass
@dataclass(frozen=True)
class Example:
value: str
helpme: str
Then build the registry :'(
