The knowledge graph tells an agent which tool to call next. The next step is letting an operator declare a chain once — "look up the order, then the customer, then the tracking number" — and expose it as a single tool.
Open questions, and the reason this is an issue rather than a task
- Is this a new tool type in the definition JSON, or a separate "composite" entity?
- How do errors in step 2 of 3 surface to the agent?
- Does response mapping apply per step, at the end, or both?
- Does it overlap enough with AI skills (which already encode "how we do this here") that one of the two should not exist?
