Storage driver local|s3, file_shares, link endpoint with internal (signed-in members) and public access, short-lived signed download URLs on a separate download host, Content-Disposition: attachment + nosniff + CSP sandbox, executable types refused on Cloud, sweeper for expired links, Settings → File Share with revoke. Tools share_upload, share_list, share_revoke, and _share_file on File Search connectors. Limits per plan (Starter: links ≤ 24 h, 100 MB total of active links, 10 MB per file); no File Share on the trial.
