The payload names no source files, so first locate the Builder's Select-mode mouse-drag handling and the rotation code it calls, then compare any platform-specific input path with the Linux and Windows behaviour. Reproducing the bug requires an Intel Mac running macOS 12, which a newcomer may not have. Done means a drag in Select mode rotates the molecule on macOS 12 Intel without changing Linux or Windows behaviour.

In the 9.1.0 Intel build on macOS 12, dragging in the Builder's Select mode does not rotate the molecule. The same drag rotates it on Linux and Windows. The Builder and Viewer otherwise open and draw normally.
Found while testing the 9.1.0 release candidate on an Intel Mac (macOS 12.7).
