The issue names no files, so begin by finding where the Dock is drawn in the Kotlin Android codebase and where launcher settings are defined. Add a setting that hides the Dock by default or on request, then confirm the home screen still lays out correctly with it off. Done means the Dock can be turned off and stays off after restarting the launcher.

Feature description
The Dock is ominous. Most Launcher apps have an option to disable the Dock for people that don't like a Dock, like me. I would like to switch to Fossify Launcher but this is the only basic feature I miss.
Why do you want this feature?
A ominous Dock is very annoying for people don't use or like it.
