The payload names no files, so start by finding how the app defines its existing keyboard layouts and text input in the Kotlin sources of the Keyboard repository. The issue does not say what a Pinyin input method should do, such as candidate selection, dictionary source or layout, so the scope needs a maintainer decision first.
