Steps to reproduce the bug
Open galery > select image and apply some zoom
Open file manager > Open image and apply some zoom
Expected behavior
Dont reset the zoom after a couple seconds
Actual behavior
When you open an image from the gallery and apply some zoom the zoom is cleared out after a couple of seconds
If the image is opened from a file explorer, on a directory containing other images, the screen will briefly flash after a couple seconds and the zoom will be reset. (i assume this is due to the app creating a "local gallery" with the images of said directory. I know this because immediately after opening an image you cannot swipe sideways, but after the flash and refresh you can swipe across images.
