描述

enhancement
  • Improve Loading and Saving (More universal for custom configuration types)
  • JSON Pretty Print (formatted & indented files) #4
  • Yaml Child Nodes (figure out how to use child nodes and implement) #1
  • JSON Child Nodes (similar method for Yaml nodes)
  • Add a way to add something to a list in a config 'config.add(key, value);'
  • Add a way to remove something from a config config.remove(key, value);
  • Add XML Support

JSON Pretty Print
Will probably have to switch from JSON simple to another API for pretty print.

For those who don't know. "Pretty print" is just a formatted version of json. Instead of having all the data on one line, it is indented and multi-lined.

Yaml Child Nodes
Child keys accessed by config.get("first.second.third");
and set by config.set("first.second.third", "Yay, it works!");

first:
  second:
    third: "Yay, it works!"

Issues

  • When trying to set a child node for a parent that already has data (other than it being a map), it won't save the data on exit.. Could be a bug, or it could be a safety feature.. not sure yet, need more research.
  • Leaving out XML support for now. Future addition possibly. Yaml & JSON should be fine for now.
