Start by locating the cc distance calculations and measure the Berlin case, which currently takes about five hours. Compare the current repeated or dynamic calculations with the other strategies, and consider the issue's proposed one-time calculation approach; done means preserving the distance results while substantially reducing runtime.

For Berlin it takes ~5 hours, compared to the other strategies which take only ~1:25
