描述
Problem
After an action such as scheduling a course, the green success banner (e.g. "Course has successfully been added!") stays at the top of the page until the user clicks the X. It pushes the page content down and never goes away on its own.
Expected
Success messages should fade out and disappear on their own after about 5 seconds. The user can still close them early with the X.
Notes
- The flash messages are rendered in
app/templates/snips/messages.html(alert alert-success alert-dismissible). - Error messages (
alert-danger) should probably stay until dismissed, so only the success alerts should auto-close.
Steps to reproduce
- Go to Courses and pick a term and program.
- Schedule a course.
- The success banner appears and stays on the page.
