描述
We are tracking Java timezone data updates needed for the November 1, 2026 timezone changes in Alberta and Manitoba. Applications using affected zones may calculate incorrect local times if their JDK timezone data is outdated, regardless of where the application is hosted.
Linux SKUs: We plan to roll out TZDB 2026e across all Linux SKUs before November 1. This refreshes timezone data in existing JDK builds without waiting for a new JDK release.
Windows SKUs: TZDB 2026c is already available and includes the Alberta correction for America/Edmonton. However, it does not include the Manitoba correction for America/Winnipeg, which requires TZDB 2026e. The Windows rollout of 2026e may take longer, and we do not yet have a confirmed completion date.
We will update this issue as rollout progresses.
