Deferred from the v0.10.0 release review.
A synced bundle is bounded by MAX_TOTAL_BYTES (32MB) and MAX_TOTAL_FILES (2000), but no limit applies to a single SKILL.md frontmatter field. A name or description can be arbitrarily large within that budget.
Both fields are echoed into the system prompt (Skill.fmt) and into the Skill tool's description, on every turn — so one oversized field inflates every request for the life of the session.
Not fixed in the release PR because the cap has to be chosen against real skill sizes: too tight and it silently truncates legitimate descriptions, which is its own failure.
