描述
Summary
Selecting /task, /redo, or /workspace from the / command list with Enter inserts the command string with a trailing space into the text box instead of opening the view, causing typed text to become an accidental paid task brief.
Observed Behavior
Pressing / opens the palette. Scrolling to /task and hitting Enter writes /task into the active input line. Typing subsequent text and pressing Enter submits the text as a /task <brief> command, spinning up a paid background task worker.
Expected Behavior
Selecting an action-only or place-navigation command (/task, /redo, /workspace) from the palette should execute or navigate immediately rather than leaving an open command prefix in the draft prompt.
Reproduction Steps
- In an interactive chat, type
/. - Select
/taskfrom the completion list and pressEnter. - Observe that
/taskremains in the prompt. - Type any message and press
Enter. A paid task run starts.
Root Cause / Location
Autocomplete handler in internal/tui3/input.go treats /task as an inline prefix insertion rather than dispatching a command execution event.
