Start with Evtx/Nodes.py at get_variant_value, where the traceback shows the unknown type value is looked up, then trace how Microsoft-Windows-Ntfs%4Operational.evtx reaches that parser. The report says the file exports correctly from Windows and mentions that original and exported files were sent; reproduce the failure with the sample if it is available. Done means evtx_dump.py handles the reported record without raising KeyError: 138.
