Start by finding the channel view component that hard-codes chat 1, then read linked issues #5 (dogfooding QOL) and #6 (old-Ace feature parity) for the intended behavior. Identify where chats and subagents are modeled so participants can open additional chats, and what state or routing switches between them. Done means a channel UI can start a new chat, open a subagent's chat, and switch between them.
