Check for duplicates

I'd like to do things like "per.*strength" when searching for uniques, just like we can in the skill tree search.
This issue https://github.com/PathOfBuildingCommunity/PathOfBuilding/issues/2656 was asking for the same thing, but it was closed with the response "You're able to use Lua patterns in all search boxes.", which seems incorrect.

To have lua patterns work in the unique item search bar
Describe alternatives you've considered
The alternative I use is going to the wiki or poedb, paste every unique item's text into your favorite text editor, and use a regex search there.
I don't think there is an alternative within PoB, because searching for " per " returns way too many undesired results
