Start by locating the text-expander shortcut matching and replacement logic, then read any nearby tests or configuration handling to understand how shortcuts are parsed. Add coverage for a shortcut containing a space and its replacement; done means the example pattern expands as described without breaking existing shortcuts.

I’m not sure why, but currently spaces can’t be used inside shortcuts.
I think it would be better if blank spaces could also be used in text expander shortcuts. The use case is, for example, we could type [ and then press space, and it would turn into [%cursor%]. This would effectively bring one of the features of an IDE or text editor into the keyboard.
