描述

ECCE offers only ORCA's NEB-TS (#419). Proposed:

  • Run types 'Reaction Path (NEB)' (the minimum-energy path only) and 'Transition State (NEB-CI)' (climbing image, no TS optimisation; no Hessian, robust when the NEB-TS optimisation fails, cf. #468), each with an optional + Frequencies variant. Same %neb block, product and guess picks as NEB-TS.
  • Read the converged path (*_MEP_trj.xyz, *.interp) for NEB, NEB-CI and NEB-TS: images steppable in the viewer, energy vs path length plotted, reusing the IRC/scan path display. Also gives NEB-TS a path to show (#466 covers live progress).
  • Gaussian has no NEB; ECCE-QM NEB could follow its IRC (#452 stage 2).
    Verify against ORCA's own printed path energies for HCN -> HNC (with a bent guess, see #468) and the #449 examples.
