Research direction

Read the linked v2 plugin documentation page on openapi attributes to see exactly what openapi.meta emitted, then compare it with the current OpenAPI plugin's handling of model-level attributes and @meta('openapi:meta', ...). Find where the plugin turns schema models into OpenAPI components and where existing annotations are read, since that is where the re-added metadata must surface. Done means a model-level annotation is accepted in the schema and appears in the generated specification, covered by a plugin test; the Discord thread is the only stated workaround context and is not available to a newcomer.
