Research direction

Start with lib/logo/recolor.ts and monochromeSvg, then read lib/logo/guides.ts, the minimum size strip in components/logo/, and parser or inspector helpers in lib/svg/. Check how the monochrome SVG is rendered at the target size and how the strip updates live. Done when it reports the thinnest solid run in plain words and a number, with unit tests for thin and thick strokes and no heavy dependency.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

area: logo difficulty: medium enhancement help wanted

Summary

Warn when the monochrome logo has strokes or gaps thinner than a chosen print minimum (for example 0.25 pt), using the construction grid's scale, so people catch marks that will fill in on embossing or small print.

Where to look

  • lib/logo/recolor.ts: monochromeSvg
  • lib/logo/guides.ts and the minimum size strip in components/logo/
  • lib/svg/: the parser and inspector helpers

Behaviour

  • Rasterize the monochrome variant at the target size and measure the thinnest solid run; report the result in plain words and a number, not only a color.

Acceptance criteria

  • The check shows next to the minimum-size strip and updates live.
  • A unit test covers a thin stroke and a thick one.
  • No network or heavy dependency is added.

Getting started: fork the repo, then pnpm install and pnpm dev (Node 22+, pnpm 11, no API keys). Before opening a PR, run pnpm typecheck && pnpm test && pnpm lint && pnpm format:check && pnpm check:dashes && pnpm build (CI fails on unformatted files, so pnpm format first). See CONTRIBUTING.md and the first contribution walkthrough.

Everything needed is in the repository. This doesn't need maintainer access, secrets or paid services. Comment below to claim it, and ask questions here any time.
