Start with the Browse code-selection and sharing flow, then trace how selected code could enter the /chat experience. Resolve whether the implementation should open the full Ask page or a contextual side panel; done means users can ask about the selected code with its source context attached.

Feature

I found previously a feature but it was fairly simple.!!!

When browsing code, Sourcebot supports selecting lines and sharing that selection. But there is no direct way to ask.

We gonna add Ask Sourcebot or Ask Sourcyy about the exact selected code into the /chat or directly a sidebar AI as
shown in the mockup.

I have 2 options around.

Option A: Open the full Ask page

Option B: Side panel

Open a contextual side panel from Browse (e.g. “Sourcy”) that shows the conversation while keeping the selected code
visible.
