Summary

I can see bits of configuration for VS Code and Claude, plus integration runners for Codex and OpenAI, but there is no single compatibility page that tells users which clients are tested and how each one passes auth.

Reproduction

  1. Read the README and docs/settings/.
  2. Try to determine the recommended config shape for different AI hosts.
  3. Notice that the information is spread across multiple files and test scripts.

Expected

A single page summarizing per-client setup:

  • headers supported or not
  • when to use ?token=
  • local vs public URL expectations
  • link to the exact config snippet

Actual

The setup story is fragmented.

Why this is a good first issue

This is mostly reorganization of existing repo knowledge into one matrix.

Suggested acceptance criteria

  • Add a new doc page with a small table for major clients.
  • Cover at least VS Code, Claude Code/Desktop, Codex CLI, and OpenAI Responses API.
  • Optionally include "community-tested" rows for Cursor and Continue.
