Start at the protocol viewer’s loading and scroll handling in the logreader app; the issue does not name a file or test. Reproduce with a tall viewport that shows all initially loaded entries, then check whether opening or resizing the viewer triggers the same bottom-of-page check as scrolling. Done means more entries load without requiring a scroll event; an open linked pull request indicates work is already underway.

Bug description

When using a vertical monitor that can house all of the protocol entries that are loaded at start, there is no scroll event that triggers loading more entries. If you do not scroll, it will not load more entries. It is a chicken and egg problem.

Steps to reproduce
  1. Have a vertical monitor (1440x2560 in my case, or just use full HD and zoom out)
  2. Admin settings > Protocol viewer (I'm German, I don't have the exact translation ready)
  3. Try to scroll to see more entries => Not possible
Expected behavior

When opening the viewer or resizing it, the same routine should run as when you are scrolling (check to see if the bottom of the page is visible and potentially load new entries).
