The issue reports manual checks for building the image, counting installed packages, checking frpc --version, and importing main; compare those checks with the proposed image changes to judge completion.

A scan of the shipped image flags mostly base-image noise: the plain apt-get install honors Recommends, so the build toolchain drags in libheif/libtiff/X11 and pipx pulls mkdocs/nltk/numpy (nothing the app uses at runtime). vim, git, curl, an SSH client and perl ship too.

Toolchain moves to a builder stage; the runtime carries the interpreter, the app venv, frpc and procps. That drops the compilers, codec parsers and network clients an attacker could leverage, and most of the bookworm package tail. frpc now comes from the official fatedier releases, SHA256-verified (the HaRP mirror is old and unsigned).

Image is about a third of the size, runtime under a hundred packages, findings down by well over 90% on a local rescan. The one remaining Critical needs a major-version migration elsewhere.
