How to Reproduce
  1. Open Visual Studio Code.
  2. Make sure the device is connected to the college Wi-Fi network.
  3. Open the Accounts menu in VS Code.
  4. Select the option to sign in with GitHub.
  5. The GitHub authentication process starts.
  6. The authentication request is blocked and the GitHub sign-in cannot be completed.
  7. GitHub can still be accessed normally through a web browser on the same network.
Expected behavior

I expect VS Code to successfully open the GitHub authentication page and allow me to sign in to my GitHub account. After completing authentication, VS Code should recognize my GitHub account as signed in.

I am not using a VPN or manually configured proxy. The device is connected to my college network.

GitHub works normally in my web browser on the same network, but the GitHub authentication request from VS Code is blocked.
