The VSCode output identifies the backend under the extension's backend directory and the global func command as the startup path. Reproduce the timeout on macOS with extension version 6.8.1, then inspect whether that backend starts and responds within 60 seconds. Done means storage connections work without the timeout or the reported .NET warning.

Hello,

I can't connect to any storage to use the VSCode extension on MacOS.
Version of the extension is 6.8.1

I get error 'No response within 60 seconds. Ensure you have the latest Azure Functions Core Tools installed globally.'.
There's only one version of the Tools installed on my machine:

Also, in the VSCode's Output window there's a message:
