The failing call is a GET to the file service root with ?comp=list, which returns 403 AuthorizationFailure. The stack trace points only to bundled node_modules/@storage-explorer/file-extension/dist/src/index.js in the user's install, not to a source file in this repo. Start by checking whether the request is sent with the right credentials or scope for listing the account, and whether the same failure reproduces against a test account.
