Start by locating the companion UI's unread message display and its handling of the next or right key. Check how it renders text that exceeds the screen height and how it advances between messages. Done when long messages can be read in successive screenfuls before the key advances to the next message.

Mô tả

The current unread message display screen in the companion UI truncates messages if they don't fit entirely on the screen. For devices with screens that can only hold a few lines of text, this limits the usefulness of the screen—I often find myself needing to connect to my companion via BLE just so I can read the full message.

Instead of truncating the message, the UI could "scroll" to show the rest of the message. If the full message doesn't fit on the screen, pressing the next or right key would display the next part of the message, instead of immediately advancing to the next message.

Before I implement this and create a PR, what do others think of this idea?
