Start by tracing the rsync snapshot creation and failure handling paths in the Timeshift source; the issue does not name specific files or tests. Check how a failed snapshot leaves files behind and what happens on reboot. Done means a failed snapshot removes its partial files and does not leave the system short of disk space.

Describe the bug
When Timeshift creates a snapshot which can't fit on the disk, it will fail the snapshot, the problem occurs when a user for example restarts their system and logs in it can cause issues such as fully preventing them from accessing the desktop (Tested on a VM).

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Ensure disk is mostly full and has no timeshift snapshot yes.
  2. Start a manual timeshift snapshot.
  3. Wait for snapshot to fail.
  4. Reboot.

Expected behavior
When the snapshot fails, Timeshift should delete all the files created from the failed snapshot as to not use up space and brick the user's system requiring intervention from recovery mode or live boot.
