Hướng nghiên cứu

Start with contentcuration/contentcuration/frontend/shared/views/QTIEditor/components/EditableChipList/index.vue and the capture-phase handler in contentcuration/contentcuration/frontend/shared/views/TipTapEditor/TipTapEditor/composables/useClickOutside.js. Reproduce the Save behavior in the QTI Match question editor, then make existing answer and distractor chips close after Save while preserving the edit and focus. Add or update the relevant EditableChipList test so clicking Save fails before the fix, and verify that the open.value TypeError is gone. Note that the issue currently says it is not open for contribution, so confirm permission before starting.

Observed behavior

  • In the QTI question editor, clicking Save on an existing chip in a Match row's answers or in Distractors (optional) leaves the chip's editor open; it does not close.
  • Pressing Enter on the focused Save does the same.
  • The edit is kept. Clicking anywhere outside the chip closes it.
  • Saving a new chip (after Add distractor) closes as expected.
  • The capture-phase click listener in useClickOutside.js counts Save as outside the editor and closes it before the button's own handler runs. Save then unmounts, and the click reopens the chip through the chip region's handler in EditableChipList/index.vue.

Errors and logs

Logged on some clicks:

TypeError: Cannot destructure property 'index' of 'open.value' as it is null

(onSave in EditableChipList/index.vue)

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open an exercise's Questions tab and Edit a Match question that has at least one answer.
  2. Open a row's answer chip, change its text, and click Save.
  3. The chip stays open in edit mode.
  4. Repeat with an existing chip under Distractors (optional).

Context

  • Studio unstable at 4238bc44a, Chromium.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Clicking Save on an open existing answer chip closes it, keeps the edit, and moves focus to that chip.
  • The same holds for an existing distractor chip.
  • Pressing Enter on a focused Save behaves the same as clicking it.
  • The open.value TypeError no longer appears in the console.
  • A test that clicks Save on an existing open chip fails without the fix.
