Start by locating the controller input handling and control mapping entry points for adjusting throttle. Reproduce the reported freeze and lost mapping with a PC controller, then compare mapping L1 with mapping L1 plus the left stick. Done means the mapping saves, the menu can be exited normally, and the controller can adjust throttle.

Could not find anything on this, also is quite new outside modhub and mods in general.
When using a controller with pc, there are difficulties with mapping adjust throttle to limit it. After mapping it to like, L1 + L-stick (to move up and down), you can´t exit the menu as usual after saving. You can close it down and go into farm-view, but when you reenter controls the mapping is gone.
Now I tried just mapping for L1 aswell, hoping to use mouse wheel as a test. Same happened, freeze and mapping gone.
However when I used L1 it started showing the throttle and I could use the mouse wheel to adjust.
Might be neat, if you could map it (without freezing) and use the thumps to adjust like the wheel.
