Start by reading the README and website for the listing description, screenshots, and privacy promise, then review the GitHub Releases download for Prompuff-Setup.exe and its silent install switch. The owner must register the Partner Center account, and the Store's rules for self-updating EXE apps need checking. Mô tả

The Microsoft Store has been free for individual developers since September 2025, and it accepts a signed Win32 installer like Prompuff-Setup.exe. A listing puts Prompuff where Windows users search, and the Store installs it without SmartScreen's warning.

What to do

  1. The owner registers the free individual developer account in Partner Center. Only the owner can do this.
  2. Submit Prompuff-Setup.exe as an EXE app, with the release download URL from GitHub Releases, its silent install switch, the description and screenshots from the README and the website, and the privacy promise as the privacy policy: no telemetry, no account, and no network access beyond the update check.
  3. Check how a Store install updates. Velopack updates the app itself, and the Store has to allow that for an EXE listing, or the listing has to say how updates arrive.

Done when

  • Prompuff is listed in the Microsoft Store and installs from it.
  • A Store install either updates itself through Velopack, or the listing and the user guide say how it updates.
