On the hosted Sentry MCP server, every agent-backed query tool consistently fails with:

Non-agent tools in the same authenticated session work fine, so this looks like a problem with the embedded-agent (LLM provider) layer of the hosted service rather than auth or the Sentry API itself.

  • search_issues — fails
  • search_events — fails (even with explicit dataset/fields/sort, no natural language)
  • execute_sentry_tool(name='search_issues', ...) — fails the same way

  • Hosted Sentry MCP (OAuth) used from Claude Code
  • Organization on EU region (https://de.sentry.io), regionUrl passed explicitly
  • First seen: 2026-08-04, reproduced consistently for several hours (multiple retries)
  • status.sentry.io showed all systems operational at the time

Agent-backed search tools work, or degrade with a clearer error (e.g. distinguish a hosted-service embedded-agent misconfiguration from a user-side problem).
