Start by reading the existing workflows under .github/workflows and the release steps in the README or build scripts, since the payload names no files. Work out how the extension zip is built and how extensions.gnome.org accepts uploads. The request has no comments yet, so confirm with the maintainer which release events should trigger publishing and how credentials are stored. Done means a workflow that packages and submits the extension when a release is tagged, verified on a test tag.

Description
Due to https://github.com/forge-ext/forge/issues/491 which was needed for the Extension to work on Gnome 49 and the time passed since release i suggest @jmmaranan to add an automation that publishes the releases so no manual intervention is needed.
Alternatives I've considered
rpm installs orrpm-ostreelayering is a workaround but maybe not suitable for everyone
