In a packaged build with minimize-to-tray off, close the main window once and verify the app exits with no engine process; confirm tray mode still behaves as before.

Found while testing the packaged v3.0.0-beta.1 build (win-unpacked, fresh home). With Settings → minimize to tray off, closing the main window should quit Sentient. It doesn't: the hidden pill window ("Sentient is listening") stays open, so the app and its engine keep running, and it takes a second close to exit.
Fix: when minimize-to-tray is off and the main window closes, quit the app: close the pill and any other helper windows, then stop the engine. With tray mode on, keep today's behaviour.
Done when: in a packaged build with tray mode off, one close quits the app and leaves no engine process. Check in a real run.
