Start by reading the existing channel code in sentient/channels/, the calendar plugin in sentient/integrations/plugins/gcalendar.py, and the approval flow in sentient/agent/approvals.py to see how messages and approvals move today. The protocol design, including how two assistants pair and encrypt messages end to end, is still open and needs a decision before code. Done when two paired assistants agree a meeting slot with approval on both sides and the protocol is documented in docs/.

Instinct's founder claims 300k+ agent-to-agent coordinations in its first week. That is unverified and there is no retention data, so this is speculative.
Idea: Two Sentient users' assistants negotiate a meeting time or swap a file over an existing channel, end-to-end encrypted, with approvals on both sides.
Status in Sentient today: New.
Where: A small protocol on top of sentient/channels/, calendar access through sentient/integrations/plugins/gcalendar.py, and approvals through sentient/agent/approvals.py. Document the protocol in docs/.
Done when:
- two paired assistants agree a meeting slot with approval on both sides
- messages are encrypted end to end
