Start by tracing the reported close path from PreferenceDialog.cancelPressed through Shell.destroyWidget to SWT's Windows implementation of OS.DestroyWindow, then compare what the Keys preference page creates with other pages. Reproduce on Windows with the reported high-DPI and IME conditions and profile how closing time changes while the page stays open. Done means closing the dialog no longer blocks for tens of seconds; the payload does not name a test or source file.

Environment: Eclipse 2026-09 (4.41), Windows Server 2025, JDK 27, 2K display
(high-DPI, custom font configured), IME: Chinese input method active.

Reproducible: Open Window → Preferences → General → Keys → press Cancel.
Closing the dialog blocks the UI thread in OS.DestroyWindow for 24-83 seconds
(consistent across attempts, duration varies).

Captured by org.eclipse.ui.monitoring (full samples attached):
main thread: PreferenceDialog.cancelPressed → close → Shell.destroyWidget
→ OS.DestroyWindow (native), repeated samples over 80s, thread state RUNNABLE.

The longer the Keys page has been open, the longer the close takes.
Other preference pages do not reproduce this.
