Start by locating the file-manager upload flow for “Optimize and Upload” and the EPUB optimization code; the issue does not name files or tests. Compare how the optimizer chooses a cover with EPUBs containing publisher-note images, using an affected EPUB if one is provided. Done when optimization preserves the original book cover; add or run a regression test if the project has a relevant test entry point.

Describe the Bug

It happened twice that the built in optimizer on the file manager changed the book cover to a different image in the epub. I was able to fix one by simply trying again, but I was also able to replicate it by trying again. The other, I was not able to resolve by re-trying and had to use a different optimizer. The wrong images it grabs are images from the publisher's notes at the end of the books.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. File Manager > Upload > Select offending titles
  2. Tick Optimize > Optimize and Upload

I can provide the epub files where I ran across this issue.

Expected Behavior

I expected the book covers to stay the same after the optimize and upload, but they were changed to different images in the book.
