What problem are you facing?
The CLI has reasonable (though by no means perfect) unit test coverage. However, there are lots of things that can't be exercised effectively by unit tests. In particular, our DevEx leans extensively on running containers, which we can't do in unit tests, and as a CLI we interact extensively with the terminal, which isn't present in unit tests.
How could Crossplane help solve your problem?
We should introduce a suite of e2e tests covering the functionality in the CLI, starting with the DevEx. Having these tests run in CI will give us greater confidence in our changes and dependency updates.
